To ensure that we were responding in a timely manner to repair and maintenance requests we invested in the web program Help Desk Authority (Help Desk). With Help Desk we can account for all repair and maintenance requests no matter how small the repair. By checking on the Help Desk site we can check the status of any repair request. If a repair is not completed within the specified time frame, Help Desk sends out an alert to the manger and his/her supervisor.
